About Us

Home Appliance Repair Inc. was established in 1995 and has a number of gas and electric appliance repair technicians. We service all major brands of household appliances including washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges, refrigerators and dehumidifiers.

Our mobile unit of service technicians are trained and kept current on the latest appliances and are professionally dressed in company uniforms and drive marked company trucks. They are equipped with appropriate diagnostic and repair tools, two-way radios, and in-house technical support.

The mobile unit is complemented and supported by our shop technicians and a professional team of Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) who understand that "you never get a second chance to make a first impression". 

The CSRs and office staff are available during regular business hours Mondays - Fridays. However, our mobile service technicians perform service calls up to 7:30 PM Mondays to Thursdays.

We are manufacturer authorized to service over 30 leading brands. In addition, we are equiped to service over 50 major brands under extended warranty as well as appliances no longer under warranty. Whatever the age or condition of your appliance, please feel free to contact us for service.

Our work is fully backed by 30 days warranty on labour and 90 days on parts!

Our techniciancs are prepared to service almost all major brands of gas and electric home appliances whatever the age or condition. They enjoying serving others and are equipped with the appropriate tools and people skills required to give you V.I.P. service every time.

Customer Service

Our Customer Service Reps (CSRs) are committed to earning your business. They are courteous, friendly and patient and they deliver good customer service always with the "Golden Rule" in mind.

Service requests are responded to within 4-24 hours and our in-house technical support attempt to pre-diagnose faults in an attempt to satisfy the customer in a single trip.

We give our customers the option of a morning or after-noon service call within a 2-3 hour window. We also accept evening or after 5:00 pm requets whenever possible.

How We Bill

We bill our customers a minimal Service Call or Trip Charge plus a Labour Charge to solve the problem. The customer may also be billed for Parts if required to fix the problem. We work with our partners and customers to ensure reasonable and appropriate billing and also offer flat rates or billing ranges to our warranty and extended warranty partners. We also charge mileage outside a 50 kilometer or 30 mile radius (one-way).

A refundable credit card or cash deposit (unless waived by third party warranty insurance) is required for the service call charge before a technician is dispatched or begins an on- site diagnosis. This is to cover our cost if the fault found is NOT covered by the customer's warranty insurance. Such cases may include, but are not limited to, "no fault found", normal wear, installation issues, user error, customer education, etc.
